The Tibrin revolution occurred in 22 BBY, following the outbreak of the Cold War. Tibrin dictator Suribran Tu wished to remain allied with the Galactic Republic, but his people moved to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After Tu used strong-arm tactics to quell the uprising, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku traveled to Tibrin and executed the dictator.
