The Tiems system was a star system located within the Belderone sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It contained at least one planet, which had a city named after the system.

The city of Tiems, and the subsequent battle fought near the city between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire, was first mentioned in the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook (First Edition), published by West End Games in 1990. In 2009, The Essential Atlas included a reference to a "Tiems system" in the appendix. This article assumes that the city of Tiems is located on a planet within the Tiems system.
