Titanite was a rare substance found exclusively on the world of Haariden. It was the source of the civil war that raged for years on the planet, mostly because of the difficulty and costliness of mining it. It had properties that could be used in bacta and when Granta Omega sought the opportunity, he tried to dominate the bacta market by being the only being in the galaxy that had titanite. However his plans were disrupted by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.
