Tom Hardy (born September 15, 1977[1]) is an English actor and producer best known in his roles in action films.

Hardy appeared in a cameo role in Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi (2017) as the stormtrooper 926 who finds Finn during his infiltration into the Supremacy during the Battle of Oetchi only to congratulate him for his apparent promotion. His scene, however, was deleted by director Rian Johnson for reasons unknown from the final cut of the film.[2] The cut material is available in a deleted scene on the 2018 Blu-ray release of the film.[3]

  3. All the New Things We Learned From the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Blu-Ray by Lussier, Germain on Gizmodo (March 14, 2018): "The home release has the extended version of the "Mega Destroyer Incursion" by Finn, Rose, and DJ. It includes a lot more tension, more humor, a visual homage to the classic '50s romantic dramedy The Apartment, and even a cameo by Ralph Ineson (The Witch) as a First Order officer who's onto their games. Although no one and nothing in the extras confirms it, we're pretty sure a Stormtrooper that talks to Finn in the extended scene is played by Tom Hardy, as has been rumored."
