Toshan Gant was an inventor and manufacturer of droid security breakers which came into widespread use in the era of the Jedi Civil War. Private efforts, presumably stemming from the questionable legality of his products, led to Gant's imprisonment at some point in his career; afterward, Gant continued his research in affiliation with the Republic military. He went on to create the Security Domination Interface.
