The Totem Master was a thief who lived on the forest moon of Endor, traveling in a covered wagon. He used a magic ring to control sapient beings, turning them into Totem Slaves and selling them as totem poles to inhabitants of villages on the moon. At night, the Totem Master reanimated the Totem Slaves and had them rob the villagers for him. He was at last defeated by Wicket and Kneesaa, who turned him into a totem pole himself. The magic ring was destroyed, freeing his slaves.
