The Touch of the Kiin'Dray was a Nightsister technique where the user could apply a binding force to their hands and feet to scramble up a cliff face or to hold a weapon in a grip that was unbreakable.^[1] The name of this ability was inspired by the Kiin'Dray, a race of gaping spiders found on Dathomir.^[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

Daniel Wallace, author of the Book of Sith, said the Touch of the Kiin'Dray was a reference to an ability used by the Nightsisters in Dave Wolverton's novel The Courtship of Princess Leia.^[3]
