Towan was a member of The Young. He encountered Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn when they came to the headquarters of The Young. He made a derogatory joke about Melida and Wehutti. Nield choked him for this, but not to death. He was sent to sleep in Drain Two for three days for his punishment.
