The Trade Federation Missile Frigate was a light frigate used by the Trade Federation prior to and during the Invasion of Naboo^[1] and by the CIS Navy early in the Clone Wars.

CharacteristicsEdit

The Missile Frigate was a long, curve-hulled vessel with two pincer-like protrusions at the bow. It was armed with concussion missile launchers, and could launch between two and four missiles at a time. These missiles left orange-red trails and caused a large blast radius on impact. It was also armed with six anti-starfighter cannons.^[1]

HistoryEdit

The pirate captain Nym engaged several Missile Frigates in combat during his assaults against Trade Federation forces in the Karthakk system. These ships also participated in the blockade of Naboo.^[1]

A blockade of Missile Frigates ambushed the Acclamator I-class assault ship Aken during its approach to Geonosis prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars. With the aid of Adi Gallia and Siri Tachi, the Aken broke through the defensive line and reached the planet's surface.^[2]
