The Trade Federation Tug was a type of tug used by the Trade Federation shortly before the Battle of Geonosis.
Characteristics[]
The tug was propelled by two engines and equipped with tractor beams to move objects. It also sported a dorsal fin similar to that of the Sheathipede-class transport shuttle.
History[]
The Sabaoth destroyer Reaver carried a number of Trade Federation Tugs to Nod Kartha after the planet was attacked by the combined pirate forces of the Mere Resistance and the Lok Revenants. A tug was launched to recover the barrel of an Orbital Defense Cannon, but it was destroyed by Nym, leader of the Lok Revenants. More tugs were launched to recover the barrel and capture other cannon parts. The pirates kept the Trade Federation Tugs from getting any cannon parts while their own tugs took the parts to the Mere cruiser Tritus.
