Trandoshan slavers (CIS)

This group of Trandoshan slavers was around during the Clone Wars, where they worked closely with a Trandoshan mercenary group.

They were called upon by the Confederacy of Independent Systems to fight the Galactic Republic and aid in the invasion of Kashyyyk. However, the slavers were more concerned with acquiring Wookiee pelts than taking sides in the war. Due to the close proximity of their home worlds, the Wookiees had been fighting the Trandoshan slavers for years, long before the CIS was formed. The clone commandos of Delta Squad were some of the first outsiders to fight them. Their weapon of choice was the Accelerated Charged Particle Array Gun, despite also being honor-bound to wield warrior's blades. Pertaining to their religion, Trandoshans looked at the amount of kills and trophies when deciding the rank of a slaver. Wookiee pelts or any kills at all elevated the status of any Trandoshan and were valued for this reason.

After the Clone Wars, the Trandoshan slavers sided with the Galactic Empire, and helped Imperial forces invade Kashyyyk to enslave Wookiees and Nizon to enslave the Nazren. Once the New Republic was formed, most of the slavers were either wiped out by the Wookiees, or imprisoned for vicious acts against the planet of Kashyyyk.

In game, Slavers are the most common of the Trandoshan enemies, and take little tamage, only one to three melee attacks or a few seconds of sustained blaster fire.
