The TriShot was a weapon that could be considered the pistol form of a shotgun. The TriShot fired three laser bolts at once and did moderate damage, but if used too much too quickly, it would overheat. Some models of Super Battle Droid had TriShots as their secondary weapon. Later, during the Galactic Civil War, the TriShot was modified into holdout blaster form, and may have been used by Renegade Squadron.
