Trico was a plant native to the moon of Yavin 8. It was used by the native sapient Melodies as a form of food. Trico was made into a paste and fed to infant Melodies until they were old enough to eat the silver-backed fish that inhabited the ponds of the purple mountains of the moon, where the Melodies lived.
