Trophan Thanis was an Imperial governor of Noonar some time during the Galactic Civil War. Facing serious problems with pirates raiding ships from Nebula Consumables in the Noonian system, he sent a message to Moff Gergris in the Halthor Sector pleading for greater Imperial Fleet presence in that system. One of Thanis' subordinates, a general Kozar, confiscated an abundance of Nebula Consumables food when the Rebel base of Movris was shut down. This lead Thanis to suspect that the pirates were in reality Rebel privateers.
