Tryla was a female Human youngling and a Jedi Initiate in the Jedi Order. She was a brave and observant girl, and a strong believer in the Jedi Code.

During the Clone Wars, she accompanied Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker on a training mission to a jungle planet. She was interested in hearing the story of how Qui-Gon Jinn had battled Darth Maul in order to protect Skywalker when he was young.
