"Tucker" was the nickname of a clone trooper pilot who served in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. A pilot for Blue Squadron, a Republic starfighter squadron, Tucker flew under the call sign of "Blue Five." Around 22 BBY, Blue Squadron participated in a battle above the planet of Ryloth. His squadron, under the command of Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, engaged a fleet of Separatist starfighters in space.
During the battle, Tucker and his squadmates made their way toward the flagship of the blockade around the planet; in an attempt to destroy the blockade, and allow the Republic forces to land safely on the planet's surface. However, Confederate Vulture droids reinforcements attacked Blue Squadron, as well as, the three Republic Star Destroyers. Admiral Wullf Yularen and Jedi General Anakin Skywalker ordered Tano and his men to retreat; however, after declining her superiors' request, Tucker was killed by the attacking Vulture droids.

[edit] Biography
"Tucker" was the nickname of a clone trooper pilot who served in the Republic Navy.[3] He, like all other clone troopers, was a clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, created on the Wild Space planet of Kamino to fight for the Galactic Republic in a war against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[1] Tucker served in Blue Squadron, a starfighter squadron in the Republic's navy, and flew under the callsign of "Blue Five."[3]
Around 22 BBY,[2] the Techno Union Foreman, Wat Tambor, seized control of the planet Ryloth and its inhabitants. The Jedi High Council dispatched General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, to assault the Confederate blockade surrounding the planet to allow Republic ground forces to land, which should assist starving Twi'leks on Ryloth, and depose Tambor. Under the command of Tano, who led the squadron in her personal starfighter, the squadron flew in V-19 Torrent starfighters. After Blue Squadron left the hangar of Skywalker's Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Resolute, the squad was quickly confronting groups of Vulture droids.[3]
As the fighters engaged the Vulture droids, Blue Squadron, nonetheless, continued their assault toward Confederate Captain Mar Tuuk's command ship, the flagship of the blockade. Although, four more Munificent-class frigates joined Tuuk's blockade as reinforcements, neutralizing the chances of a successful attack run by Blue Squadron. Skywalker and Admiral Wullf Yularen ordered Blue Squadron to fall back and protect the Resolute from waves of Vulture droid attacks. Instead, on Tano's orders, Blue Squadron disobeyed and followed through with their assault on Tuuk's ship. Blue Squadron took heavy fire from the droid gunners on the frigates and from the Vultures, resulting in Tucker be shot down by Vulture droids, perishing over Ryloth.[3]
[edit] Personality and traits
Tucker was a clone trooper pilot trained to fly Republic starfighters, but despite his pilot training, he was unable to escape death when his squadron encountered a large number of Vulture droids during the battle of Ryloth and his fighter was destroyed.[4]
[edit] Behind the scenes
Tucker was first featured in an episode of Season One of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, entitled "Storm Over Ryloth." He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced all the clone troopers of the show.[4]
