A male Twi'lek trained as a Jedi in the New Jedi Order. He was present at the Wedding of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade where he stood alongside Cilghal,^[1] as well as the Conclave on Zonama Sekot at the close of the Yuuzhan Vong War.^[2] He used a blue-bladed lightsaber.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

While there are a few female Twi'lek Jedi in the New Jedi Order that have received names, no male Twi'lek Jedi have been named in this era. Nevertheless, on two occasion such a Jedi appears in illustrations; in Star Wars: Union 2 and in Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force (seen here). It has not been established whether these were the same individual.

This could be Shul Vaal, who is described as a middle-aged Twi'lek male in Backlash.
