Tymps were omnivores native to Serat. Originating in the world's forests, they were opportunistic, and adapted to life in Seratian cities, raiding storehouses for roti grain. Seratians' hunting of symers — the only natural predator of tymps — resulted in a tymp population explosion that jeopardized local agriculture.
