An Ultra Droideka was a larger variant of a droideka battle droid, used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. An oversized version of a regular droideka, it had considerably more powerful weapons, but required a tremendous amount of energy to sustain its shields. As a result, it often operated in the shieldless mode when there were other droids around to protect it.

HistoryEdit

During the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker infiltrated a secret Separatist facility responsible for the manufacturing of Ultra Droidekas to prevent their use against the Galactic Republic.
