"Una Gitori, a former agent of mine, has decided to expand his horizons by selling information to my rival Jabba. In addition to breaking my heart, Una jeopardizes many of my current business deals. It would be wonderful if you could silence him."
―Lady Valarian[src]

Una Gitori was a male Ualaq Aqualish member of the Valarian gang who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Gitori betrayed Lady Valarian by selling information to her rival, the infamous Hutt known as Jabba Desilijic Tiure. As a result of betraying Valarian's trust, and jeopardizing her many business deals, Valarian requested that a spacer eliminate him on her behest.[1]

Cut depiction of a Human female Una Gitori from Star Wars Galaxies

Una Gitori was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[1][2]

Because Una Gitori spawned under the generic "lost_aqualish_marksman" template, his appearance was randomized under one of two possible depictions. He could either appear as a female Ualaq Aqualish, or as a male Ualaq Aqualish. Because the quest dialogue identified Gitori as male, this article assumes that the male Ualaq Aqualish depiction is canon in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[1]

With Publish 20 released on July 19, 2005, it was announced that the Valarian Theme Park of which Gitori was a part would be phased out during Publish 22 to make way for a revamped questline during Publish 23. While the Valarian Theme Park was fully deactivated by Publish 23 on August 31, 2005,[3] the newly proposed questline was never fully implemented to replace it.[1] Nevertheless, files pertaining to this updated questline can be found in the game's directory tree files. Among these files is an updated version of Gitori, simply designated as "tatooine_una." An emulated depiction pulled from this character's Interchange File Format reveals that the updated character would have been a tattooed Human female, instead of an Ualaq Aqualish as in the original Valarian Theme Park.[4]
