A member of the Hutt Cartel worked as an informant for the Republic Strategic Information Service, the Galactic Republic's intelligence agency, during the Cold War between the Republic and the Sith Empire. However, bounty hunters captured the informant and arranged for the individual to be delivered to the Cartel.^[1]
