An unidentified Dark Side Adept with pale green skin was known to have lived in the galaxy at some point in history. A typical adept of the dark side of the Force, that individual sought to gain power by exploiting the inferiors and the non–Force-sensitive.
Behind the sceneEdit
That unidentified character appeared in the 2001 roleplaying guide The Dark Side Sourcebook as a generic archetype of Dark Side Adept. Since generic characters were made suitable for any era, no chronological background was given to the Dark Side Adept.
The Adept's picture originated as a concept art for the Jedi Master Mace Windu during the pre-production of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, when actor Samuel L. Jackson had not yet been cast in the role. The Concept Artist Iain McCaig based the face of his proto-Windu on that of Steve Aplin, an ILM modeler, and the costume was the product of scribbling.
