The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A species of pink feathered fowl were in existence in 19 BBY on the planet Garqi. That year, the youngling Owen scared some when he was running.

DescriptionEdit

A species of fowl lived on Garqi,[1][2] an agriworld located in the Cassander sector.[3] The fowl had a small body, with a tail several times its length. This was divided into three, circular-tipped, central tail feathers. The bird had two, long wings, each terminating in two-digit, bald, pink claws. The body, wings, and tail were all covered in pink plumage. The species had a small, bald head, with a pink comb between its eyes. These eyes had a white sclera and black pupil, and were placed one on each side of the head. The species' beak was pink and ridged, and had an overhanging maxilla.[1]

HistoryEdit

In 19 BBY, four birds of this species were disturbed from grasslands when the youngling, Owen, ran away from the clone trooper Aiwha Squad shortly after the conclusion of the Battle of Garqi. The fowls scattered in different directions, with one molting several feathers as it flew away.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

This species of fowl appeared in "Orders," a comic published in Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 4 in 2005. "Orders" was written by Ryan Kaufman, penciled by Rick Lacy and colored by Ronda Pattison. While the comic itself does not identify the setting as Garqi, the article "Order 66: Destroy All Jedi," published in Star Wars Insider 87, does so.
