- "Wow…I wanna check his midi-chlorian count."
- ―The barfly, noticing Rako Hardeen
During the Clone Wars, a barfly visited Trueping's, a cantina on the planet Coruscant. In 21 BBY, the Human noticed the bounty hunter Rako Hardeen as he entered the bar, and they subsequently attempted to attract his attention until they were interrupted by a LEP servant droid claiming to represent his employer.
Biography[]
- "This cantina is a bust…You wanna go to the next one?"
- ―The barfly, to Rako Hardeen
In 21 BBY,[2] during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a Human barfly was present in[1] Trueping's[3] cantina on[1] the planet[4] Coruscant. They noticed as the bounty hunter Rako Hardeen entered the establishment and asked the Anacondan bartender for a shot of their finest drink. Slipping out of their chair and joining Hardeen at his side, the barfly inquired as to the occasion. The bounty hunter answered that he was celebrating having killed the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, much to the delight of the bar's patrons.[1]
Eventually, they tried to convince Hardeen to go to another cantina with them. However, the barfly was interrupted by an LEP servant droid, which claimed Hardeen's employer had his payment, and the bounty hunter followed it into the back room—but not before ordering a round of beverages for all present. The barfly was later present as Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, entered the establishment looking for Hardeen. The Jedi pair apprehended an individual all present assumed was the bounty hunter, but was actually Kenobi in disguise on an undercover mission to infiltrate the Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center and investigate a kidnapping plot against Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.[1]
Personality and traits[]
The barfly had long black hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and blue lips. They took an interest in Hardeen as he entered the cantina and attempted to converse with him after engaging with the bounty hunter at the bar.[1]
Equipment[]
While at the cantina, the human wore a fitted black-and-tan dress paired with tall boots.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The barfly appeared in the fifteenth episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' fourth season, titled "Deception,"[5] which aired on January 20, 2012.[6] They were voiced by Ashley Eckstein, the actor who also portrayed Ahsoka Tano.[1]
