An IG-100 MagnaGuard droid was stationed inside General Grievous's castle on the Third moon of Vassek during the time of the Clone Wars.

History

Around 21 BBY, Dark Lord of the Sith Count Dooku decided to test his general, Grievous, by luring a Republic strike force team made up of Jedi General Kit Fisto along with Jedi knight Nahdar Vebb and a squad of clone troopers, to his lair on the Third moon of Vassek. The Count also remotely deactivated his IG-100 MagnaGuard bodyguards, including this one, for recharge.

When Grievous arrived at his lair, he was ambushed and injured by the strike team, but he eventually managed to escape and reactivated his MagnaGuards. A group of droids then went outside Grievous's castle and took out the strike force's Nu-class attack shuttle, as well as two clone troopers, Niner and Bell, who guarded the ship. The droids then attempted to destroy Kit Fisto's Aethersprite Interceptor, but astromech droid R6-H5 managed to fly it away. This droid clung onto the ship as it took off, but R6 then performed a series of aerial maneuvers which caused the droid to loose it's grip. The droid then fell off the starship and down to the rocky bottom where it was destroyed.
