"I had seen your master fight, long ago. He was too dangerous to capture--exposure to the void of space was a suitable fate."
―Darth Vader explains his reason for executing the Jedi Master[src]

A male Jedi Master served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, becoming a key member of the Vaklin insurgency at the start of the Great Jedi Purge.

A Force-sensitive male was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, eventually attaining the rank of Jedi Master by the time of the Clone Wars. Taking on a Padawan, they served together in the Grand Army of the Republic and both avoided execution during the initial stages of the Galactic Empire's ascent to power. Together with his former student and Jedi Cho'na Bene they went into hiding on Vaklin, a very pro-Jedi world.[1]

A key member of the Vaklin insurgency, he was the first to be captured by Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader. Surrendering and taken prisoner by the Sith, Vader believed that the man was far too good of a swordsman to be taken alive and dumped him out an airlock as a form of execution.[1]
