A bird species was native to the planet Kiros. Darts D'Nar kept some of these as pets during the Battle of Kiros and planned to sell them had the Jedi not captured him. They were gentle animals, and were very tame. They also appeared to be quite intelligent little creatures, as one laughed when it saw Anakin Skywalker flirting with Queen Miraj Scintel.

They were remarkably similar in appearance to the convoree, but with different colored plumage.^[1]
