A Munificent-class star frigate of the corporate union known as the Confederacy of Independent Systems was present in the attack on the flagship of Jedi Master Adi Gallia in the vicinity of the planet Patitite Pattuna circa 21 BBY, during a galactic conflict called the Clone Wars. The starship, together with General Grievous's Providence-class carrier/destroyer and a second Munificent-class star frigate, fired on the Jedi's spacecraft, which was destroyed in the engagement.

DescriptionEdit

The Munificent-class star frigate was equipped with armament.^[1] It outnumbered^[3] the flagship of Jedi Master Adi Gallia when paired with another Munificent-class star frigate^[1] and the Providence-class carrier/destroyer^[4] of Grievous, a general^[1] of an alliance of commercial organizations,^[5] the Confederacy of Independent Systems.^[1]

HistoryEdit

During the Clone Wars^[1]—a galactic conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems^[5]—around 21 BBY,^[2] the Munificent-class star frigate, together with another Munificent-class star frigate and Grievous's^[1] Providence-class carrier/destroyer,^[4] participated in the attack on Jedi Master Adi Gallia's starship near the planet Patitite Pattuna. The frigate and the Jedi's vessel exchanged fire in the engagement; the latter was eventually destroyed.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The starship first appeared unidentified in "Nomad Droids," the sixth episode of season four of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series that had aired on October 14, 2011.^[6]
