The New Republic included a diplomat of a reptilian species that had large frills on their necks and a broad tail. This diplomat wore a pale blue, loose-fitting garment owned a pet rugger.

Behind the scenesEdit

This character was illustrated by Terryl Whitlatch for The Wildlife of Star Wars: A Field Guide, published by Chronicle Books in 2001. The character resembles the members of the Viis Empire, from the Alien Chronicles series also illustrated by Whitlatch. The resemblance extends to clothing of the Viis illustrated on the Alien Chronicles website.
