This Senate Commando was the pilot of Chancellor Palpatine's escape shuttle. Anakin Skywalker cut the ship in half, and the ship fell apart, with the Zillo Beast taking it down; therefore the passengers of the shuttle fell out. After allowing Palpatine to escape before him, he was killed when the Zillo Beast stomped on the shuttle.
