Circa 21 BBY, a guard was a member of the Senate Commandos, an elite branch of the Senate Guard. He was normally stationed on Coruscant. However, after Senator Padmé Amidala managed to capture Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray on Rodia, this guard, Captain Faro Argyus and three other guards were assigned to the Venator-class Star Destroyer Tranquility and tasked with escorting the captured viceroy to Coruscant alongside Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and Padawan Ahsoka Tano.

After Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress infiltrated the warship and attacked padawan Ahsoka Tano, this guard along with a fellow one and Captain Argyus rushed to her aid. They then opened fire, but Ventress deflected the shot back with her lightsaber, hitting the two guards and killing them, but missing Argyus.
