An individual was a member of the Sith Order who lived thousands of years before the Clone Wars. At some point, the individual created the Darkstaff, a dangerous Sith artifact that the Sith Lord Darth Rivan later speculated was the result of an experiment that had gone wrong. The Sith individual regretted creating the staff and was eventually killed by the artifact.
