Millennia before the cold war,[2] a period of risen tensions between the First Order and the New Republic after[5] the Battle of Jakku in 5 ABY[6] and before[5] the Hosnian Cataclysm in 34 ABY,[6] a female Sith witch led Sith forces during the Great Scourge of Malachor,[3] a battle between the Jedi Order[7] and the Sith Empire.[4]

The battle on the planet Malachor involved ancient superweapons,[3] including the Malachor Sith Temple. The battle ultimately resulted in the Sith temple being activated and fired, petrifying and killing all of the combatants,[7] including the witch.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Sith witch was first mentioned, albeit unnamed, in Dawn of Rebellion, a 2018 canon roleplaying sourcebook published by Fantasy Flight Games.[3]
