When the Millennium Falcon was captured by the battlestation, Obi-Wan Kenobi heard this stormtrooper respond to KE-829's question about the BT-16. He presumably died later, during the Death Star's destruction.

In the popular non-canon comic series Tag and Bink, it is retconned these two stormtroopers are Tag and Bink.

↑ While no source explicitly states this stormtrooper died during the Death Star's explosion, it is likely he was among the many who died when Luke Skywalker blew it up
