A Weequay was employed by the crime lord Jabba the Hutt[2] in 4 ABY.[1] The Weequay accompanied their master during the attempted execution of Luke Skywalker and his rebel friends at the Great Pit of Carkoon on Tatooine in 4 ABY. However, with the help of his droid R2-D2, Skywalker used his lightsaber to slain Jabba's henchmen. Shortly after Velken Tezeri fell to his death, the Weequay was slained by Skywalker's lightsaber and fell into the sarlacc to be digested over thousands of years.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Weequay Skiff Master was played by the late stuntman Peter Diamond in the 1983 Star Wars film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.[source?]

In 2012, Hasbro released an action figure for their Vintage Collection named "Weequay Skiff Master". Though not stated to be this Weequay, the action figure resembled the character closely and was even wearing the same garments of the Weequay.
