|Unidentified brown-robed Gotal|
|Chronological and political information|
A male brown-robed Gotal was in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina on Tatooine in 0 BBY on the day when Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi cut Ponda Baba's arm off and the smuggler Han Solo shot the Rodian bounty hunter Greedo.
Behind the scenesEdit
The Gotal can be seen sitting with Momaw Nadon and Trinto Duaba in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. However, both Play It Again, Figrin D'an: The Tale of Muftak and Kabe and The Sand Tender: The Hammerhead's Tale—short stories featured in 1995's Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina—have Nadon sitting with Muftak during the cantina scene. A New Hope contrarily has Muftak seated with Myo, Lirin Car'n, and Djas Puhr. The character is later seen passing behind Greedo as the Rodian confronts Han Solo. Previously appearing characters, such as Arleil Schous have appeared in both Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and The Star Wars Holiday Special, however it is as-yet-unconfirmed whether this brown-robed Gotal is the same character as Dratun.
