A gangster was a rival of the Ur'kossags, a criminal gang on the moon Nar Shaddaa during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. When the Ur'kossags attempted to recruit the Force-sensitive teenager Kira Carsen, they offered her membership if she would kill the gangster, but Carsen ultimately refused the offer.[1]
