During the rule of the Sith Empire, the Sith Lords of the Empire used a jungle world as a breeding ground for the Sith war behemoths—a species of large, quadrupedal creatures bred to become ferocious war beasts for the Sith armies. The planet was considered to be harsh, and its surface was covered in rainforests. Besides the Sith war behemoth, the world's fauna included a reptavian species. At the time of the Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow's preparations to attack the Galactic Republic, his Sith soldiers transported several of the war behemoths off-world to rendezvous with the Sith invasion fleet.

The jungle world's atmosphere was breathable for members of the Sith species,^[1] yet the planet was considered to be harsh, with its surface being covered in rainforests^[2] made up by gnarled trees and long grass. The world was home to a reptavian species.^[1] During the rule of the Sith Empire, the Sith made an addition to the jungle planet's fauna in the form of the Sith war behemoth—a species of large, quadrupedal herbivores.^[2]

During the reign of the Sith Empire, the Sith Lords of the Empire transported Sith war behemoths to several jungle planets, where the creatures were subjected to Sith alchemy and centuries-long breeding programs in order to turn them into violent war beasts for the Sith armies.^[2] At the time of the Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow's preparations to attack the Galactic Republic^[1] in the year 5,000 BBY,^[3] his Sith soldiers maneuvered several of the war behemoths of the jungle world into the troop containers of a Sith personnel carrier waiting to take them to the Sith invasion fleet.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

To date, the planet has only appeared in the second issue of The Fall of the Sith Empire story arc of the Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi series of comic books. The issue was published on July 23, 1997 and was written by Kevin J. Anderson and penciled by Dario Carrasco, Jr. In Sith War Behemoth—an online supplement for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game published by Wizards of the Coast on August 9, 2001—background information for the Sith war behemoth species was provided, including the fact that the creatures were bred on harsh jungle worlds—a description that fits the planet portrayed in the Tales of the Jedi comic issue.
