This person was the captain of a pirate starship.

At some point, the Esoomian brawler Tantor became one of the crewmembers. Tantor intimidated victims of boarded ships, and stopped several attempted mutinies against the captain, but the captain repeatedly refused to raise Tantor's salary. Eventually, Tantor got sick of this and, during a discussion, the Esoomian put his captain in a escape pod and jettisoned him to space. The first officer of the ship became the new captain.
