This unidentified planet that rained acid as well as glass was the fourth planet of a remote system near an unidentified planet which hosted the spaceport of Lasgo Port. This glass rain planet was home to a species of giant beetles which ate glass. The planet was also known to have at least one settlement in 139 ABY. Following Ania Solo's kidnapping, her former flame Ramid flew his starship there in an attempt to refuel at the planet's settlement. However, they were attacked by a mysterious masked bounty hunter who shot down Ramid's ship. Ania and Ramid were forced to work together to survive. Later, the planet was visited by Ania's friends, who had come to rescue her, and a force of stormtroopers sent to arrest her.
Behind the scenes[]
Servants of the Empire: The Secret Academy author Jason Fry has stated that he intended for a reference to the planet Gesaral Beta in that novel to be referencing this planet. However, he never explicitly said so within The Secret Academy, and further stated that he would "leave it to Wookieepedia to work out the canonicity." As the information does not appear within the novel itself and is not approved by the Lucasfilm Story Group, it cannot be considered canon.[3]
