This rogue assassin droid was one of the early models of Imperial assassin droid and was re-programmed by Maliiki, a Jawa spy, wishing to obtain an information crystal. He was attacked by a later model assassin droid at a salvage yard and retreated inside; the later models of assassin droids were built with more brawn than brains, so chances of defection were lowered. Maliiki was also attacked and required rescuing.
