A virus was developed by the Imperial scientist Captain Vischera inside the Vanishing Place facility on the planet Felucia. A number of Jungle Felucian children contracted it, resulting in extreme loss of muscle mass and the change in their skin color to sickly gray. However, the children were cured by a group of Bail Organa's agents sent to the planet to raid the Vanishing Place.
