The Unity was a Mark One Starhawk that served in the New Republic Starfleet during the Galactic Civil War in 5 ABY.[3] The Unity took part in the Battle of Jakku.[2]

DescriptionEdit

The Unity was a Mark One Starhawk[2] built by Nadiri Dockyards from disassembled Imperial starships following the Battle of Endor. It had a hatchet-shaped front and was classed as a battleship.[1]

HistoryEdit

The Unity and other Mark One Starhawks were commissioned by the New Republic's Galactic Senate to support the Republic's war effort against the Imperial remnants during the Galactic Civil War. During the Battle of Jakku, the Unity and her sister ships Concord and Amity were used as part of a wedge strategy to try and penetrate the dense Imperial starship formation above the planet Jakku. The Unity flanked the starboard side of the Concord. Both her sisters ships were destroyed during the battle, which ended as a decisive victory for the New Republic.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Unity first appeared in Chuck Wendig's 2017 novel Aftermath: Empire's End, the third installment in The Aftermath Trilogy.
