Upulu was a male Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

BiographyEdit

A Force-sensitive, Upulu was educated in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order. Attaining the rank of Jedi Master, Master Upulu selected the young Mon Calamari Initiate Shalimin as his Padawan during the Separatist Crisis.^[1]

When the Clone Wars erupted between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Master Upulu took up the rank of General in the Grand Army of the Republic. While Master Upulu was away fighting, Padawan Shamlimin was selected to serve beside Jedi High Council member Kit Fisto during the Battle of Dac where the two led the Republic to victory over the Confederacy. As the report came to the Coruscant Jedi Temple, Fisto detailed how Shalimin had reveled in the victory in a way unbecoming of a Jedi. Shamed by his Padawan's actions Upulu sent Shalimin to the planet Argul to assist in the defensive there. While an initial failure, Grand Master Yoda arrived with reinforcements which ensured a Republic victory.^[1]
