Saun Dann
Edit
Saun Dann was a Human male from Nar Shaddaa. A descendent of Elora Danan of Andowyne, Saun was born and raised among the scum of the Galaxy's underworld.
At age three, his mother and father— both bounty hunters—were killed in a job that went bad. Alone, Saun wandered the streets of Nar Shaddaa until age 15, when his general skills in "worldliness" caught the attention of the aging Jedi Master Quinlan Vos. Approaching eighteen, Saun grew increasingly suspicious of Vos' intentions, and murdered him in his sleep not long after Vos encountered a young boy not so different from Dann.
Dann soon found himself at the bad end of a deal, and dumped on Hypori. It was there he discovered a wrecked Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor—a craft used heavily during the latter years of the Clone Wars. Over several months, Dann learned to survive on the planet, and was skilled enough to repair the ship, which he then used to leave the planet. With an entire galaxy at his fingertips, he chose to ultimately settle down on Kashyyyk, where he made a good living as a trader with the Wookiees, as well as with any travelers that made their way through his area of the planet.
In 0 ABY, Dann aided in the Rebel Victory of the Blockade of Kashyyyk. However, this made him a marked man with the Empire. In 4 ABY, shortly before the Battle of Endor, some of Dann's family members invited him to a dinner celebration on Coruscant. Among those attending was his nephew Aibin Dann— on shore leave from the Imperial Military. It was the night of the feast that Saun Dann met his end, after eating a Wookiee-ookiee... which had been poisoned by his nephew.

In 18 BBY, now-famous reporter Cindel Towani was approached by the Naboo artist Palo Cipasso to write and produce a holofilm based on her crash, life and escape on the forest moon of Endor during her childhood. The film was completed in 21 ABY, and made its debut at the CoCo District Theatre on Coruscant. It became an instant children's classic.
