- "Nice job, Skywalker. I beginning to see why they say you're the best."
- ―Kasan Moor
Shortly following the Rebels' evacuation of Yavin Base circa .5 ABY, Skywalker, in command of the newly formed Rogue Squadron attached to a roving Alliance capital ship command base, led a series of missions against the Empire. During a leisurely early morning run through Tatooine's Beggars Canyon in their X-wings, Skywalker, Antilles, and another Rogue unexpectedly encountered an Imperial ambush of Mos Eisley. They were able to drive away a pacification force of TIE bombers and Viper probe droids.[1]
Rogue Squadron's duties soon turned to a campaign of search-and-rescue and escort missions for Alliance forces under the command of General Carlist Rieekan. Skywalker helped to escort a supply convoy of much needed war matériel from resistance forces through Imperial territory on the humid world of Barkesh. They later assisted in a race-against-time recovery against TIE interceptors and bombers of a downed Rebel ship, the Nonnah, that had been carrying a number of Rebel soldiers and stolen Imperial equipment and had crash landed on the fog-shrouded world of Chorax. Flying RZ-1 A-wing interceptors, the Rogues helped protect a Lambda-class shuttle that worked to extract the crew from the crash site.[1]
When Imperial officer Crix Madine expressed to the Rebellion his desire to defect in 1 ABY, Skywalker led the squadron in T-47 airspeeders into Coronet City, the capital city of Corellia, where Rieekan was engaged in a meeting with city leaders in the Coronet Capital Tower concerning Madine's defection. The Rogues helped fend off a concentrated attack on the capital tower by TIE bombers and, with the timely intervening help of Solo and Chewbacca in the Millennium Falcon, were able to oversee Madine's safe transition into Alliance hands and help evacuate the citizens trapped in the tower just before its destruction. During the battle, Skywalker utilized for the first time an ingenious new tactic to defeat All Terrain Armored Transports. Using his speeder's harpoon and tow cable, he and his rear gunner tangled up the legs of two AT-ATs, tripping them to the ground and effectively rendering them inoperable.[1]
Skywalker and the Rogues, in conjunction with a flight of Gold Squadron Y-wings led by Madine, responded to a distress signal sent to the Rebellion from the planet Gerrard V, where the local Imperial governor was looting the city following a previous failed anti-Imperial revolt by the planet's inhabitants. The Alliance force was met by the elite 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron under the command of Lieutenant Kasan Moor. Engaging the 128th in a dogfight above Gerrard V's urban centers, the Rogues were able to help the planet gain its independence. Madine used his Y-wing's ion cannons to disable Moor's interceptor during the skirmish. Captured by the Rebellion, she too decided to defect from Imperial forces and joined Rogue Squadron under Skywalker's command.[1]
Moor provided the location of an Imperial supply depot on the Jade Moon, a weapons repository for local Imperial bases within the Carosus system. Although Antilles expressed his skepticism of Moor's trustworthiness to Skywalker, the latter was willing to allow her the opportunity to prove herself. Skywalker and the Rogues flew air cover for a commando team led by Madine, that was to infiltrate and raid the moon's supply inventory. During the raid, the Imperial forces raised a shield around the base, preventing Madine and his forces access. Skywalker, however, destroyed the base's nearby shield generator that was located at the end of a winding canyon with a salvo of proton torpedoes, reminiscent of his actions that destroyed the first Death Star only a year prior. The shot was executed at a near-impossible angle and under the fire of a series of missile launchers, earning the impression of Madine. At the conclusion of the battle, Skywalker expressed to Moor his pride that she was now fighting for her own ideals.[1]
Further intelligence from Moor led the squadron on a hit-and-run mission to the Imperial factory world of Balmorra, where Skywalker was instrumental in the destruction of AT-AT and AT-ST manufacturing facilities, again in the cockpit of a T-47; a raid on the planet Kile II in Y-wings, which saw Skywalker help to raze the local Imperial Enclave, crippling Imperial Navy operations in that sector. During the battle, however, Antilles' Y-wing was ambushed and shot down by TIE Interceptors, leading to his capture. This inevitably led the Rogues to the Imperial prison world of Kessel, where Antilles had been shipped. Flying an X-wing specially equipped with an ion cannon, Skywalker assisted in the disabling of a ray shielded armored hovertrain to rescue Antilles before it could deliver him to the central prison facility. Immediately thereafter, Skywalker once more flew cover for Madine's commandos as they infiltrated the extensive prison complex to rescue a number of other incarcerated Rebels.[1]
With Rogue Squadron once more at full strength, the Alliance faced a new threat—the Imperial Moff Kohl Seerdon, who had set his aims on the precious bacta supplies of Thyferra, hoping to cripple the Rebellion's medical efforts. Skywalker and the Rogues were tasked with a series of quick hit-and-run raids to disrupt Seerdon's operations. The first included an A-wing strike against the Imperial tibanna gas mining colony of Taloraan. During the Taloraan raid, a group of Rebels had stolen three AT-PTs from an Imperial research facility on the icy planet of Fest. The Rogues raced to help their comrades, whose escape had not gone as planned. Skywalker personally escorted the AT-PTs to safety through a heavy fire zone, once more employing the harpoon and tow cable tactic to bring down three AT-ATs. He then proceeded to destroy Seerdon's research facility.[1]
In retribution for the Fest raid, Seerdon initiated a blockade of the planet Chandrila. The Rogues were once more rushed into action, first helping to escort an armored hover train carrying supplies vital to the Chandrilan resistance forces, and then overseeing the escape of civilians aboard evacuation shuttles. Rogue Squadron was ultimately able to secure the city after a contested dogfight. When Moor spotted Seerdon escaping from the scene in his own shuttle under the escort of several TIE Interceptors after the battle, Skywalker personally ordered her to refrain from pursuing him, warning her that they did not know how many ships he had backing him up.[1]
Rogue Squadron soon engineered their own brand of retribution, destroying an Imperial geothermal energy transmitter, the Capacitor, above a volcano on the planet Sullust. However, the effort turned out to be nothing but a diversion by Seerdon, drawing the Rogues away from his true intentions: the seizure of Thyferra's bacta, to cut off the Rebellion's supplies for good. Skywalker led his squadron into battle against Seerdon's forces in the Thyferra skies. The skirmish culminated in a final head-to-head dogfight between Skywalker and Seerdon himself, in a modified Sentinel-class landing craft. Skywalker was able to destroy Seerdon's craft, killing him, finally securing the planet's bacta.[1]
At some point during this period, Skywalker, Antilles, Dak Ralter, and Zev Senesca entered into a friendly race through Beggar's Canyon in T-16 Skyhoppers. Skywalker defeated each of his squadronmates, ritualistically finishing the race by "threading" the eye of the Stone Needle, though he admitted afterwards that he felt bad since he was a certified expert at the course.[1]
Notes:
- I've listed the defection of Corellia as the first time Skywalker employed the tactic of tripping AT-ATs with tow cables. This may, in fact, first occur at an earlier time of which I am unaware.
- Included are some quotes you may find useful.

It's been months with nothing yet, and I just re-read this, so here goes. It might be a bit too "play-by-play". —Xwing328(Talk) 03:04, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
insert transition here...Skywalker accompanied Leia Organa on a diplomatic mission to the Circarpous system, hoping to persuade the citizens of Circarpous IV to openly reject the Empire and join the Rebel Alliance. After leaving the secret Rebel outpost on Circarpous XIV with their droids in a pair of BTL Y-wing starfighters, they crash landed on the planet of Mimban, where the Empire was running a covert energy mining operation. On Mimban, Skywalker and Organa encountered a Force-sensitive woman named Halla, who claimed to be a master of the Force. Having in her possession a shard of crystal that resonated in the Force when touched by a Force-sensitive, Skywalker and Organa struck a deal with Halla, promising to help the old woman find the Kaiburr crystal of Mimbanite legend if she in turn aided them in their escape off the planet. Before the newly formed group could set out, however, they ran into trouble with a group of local miners, and Skywalker and the princess were arrested. Imperial stormtroopers brought them before Captain-Supervisor Grammel. While initially questioning Luke and Leia, Grammel recognized the potential value of the crystal shard Luke now had in his possession. He imprisoned Skywalker and Organa with a duo of drunk Yuzzem, Hin and Kee. Skywalker succeeded in befriending the alien brutes, as he had picked up a passable amount of their native language, Yuzz, back in his spare time on Tatooine.
After ensuring his prisoners were locked in a maximum security cell, Grammel contacted Governor Bin Essada to have the crystal shard appraised, but Essada recognized Princess Leia and proceeded to inform Lord Vader of the Rebels' location. Imprisoned, but not out of action, Skywalker learned to work with Halla to control the Force and managed an escape from prison. The group, with their new Yuzzem friends, stole an Imperial swamp crawler and headed off on a trek into the swampy jungle and towards the ancient Temple of Pomojema.
After XXX days, the group drove into a vicious wandrella and was split up when Luke and Leia escaped down a Thrella well. Luke and Leia were forced to stay underground when the wandrella destroyed...? The remainder of the team trekked towards the nearest accessible (Thrella well?) on foot, as the wandrella had destroyed their swamp transport, too.
Add the rest about underground trek, encounters with the Coway, confrontation with Imperials, and Luke's first duel with Vader.

Some time after the defeat of Palpatine, Luke, his sister, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, were involved in a brief space battle against a group of older-modeled TIE interceptors. They defeated the Imperial craft when Leia noticed a group of Jawa sandcrawlers floating in space. Skywalker and Solo also noticed an experimental TIE X1 fighter fleeing the scene of battle and they pursued it. The craft led them to a facility filled with Imperial war machinery and inhabited by an artist named Perek, who emerged to greet Skywalker, Solo, Organa Solo, and Chewbacca. Though Perek claimed to be harmless, Skywalker sensed a disturbance in the Force and the others were suspicious as well. While investigating a group of unusual insects, Skywalker was beset upon by a group of Jawas. Activating his lightsaber, he sliced through them, revealing that only Jawa-sized droids were present under the robes. Furthermore, R2-D2 and C-3PO, who had gone exploring the facility by themselves, had had sizable droid chassis attached to them and had grabbed hold of Han, Leia, and Chewbacca. Meanwhile, Skywalker had issues of his own, as his mechanical arm began to mutate and grow, consuming more of his arm. Confronting Perek, Skywalker learned that he had created an "art virus" that consumed organic flesh and used it to create mechanical replacements instead. Perek claimed that soon Skywalker would be a machine, like his deceased father, thanks to his infection, but Skywalker angrily denied that, cutting off his own out-of-control mechanical arm. Han Solo and Chewbacca had disabled the rest of the droids and the virus-carrying insects with a Corellian spark grenade, and the deranged artist was defeated, though at the cost of Skywalker's right forearm.[2]
Marvel 51
Edit
Skywalker was dispatched by himself as part of a group of scouting teams sent by the Alliance to search for a base to replace Hoth. Landing on a remote world, Skywalker found the planet unappealing, particularly after he uncovered a communications beacon hidden beneath the muck of the planet's surface. He was then attacked by an Imperial AT-ST, but managed to have R2-D2 activate his X-wing's shields, repelling the walker's fire. Skywalker acted quickly, attacking the communications beacon. As the AT-ST turned to fire on him, he dove into the muck and emerged next to the walker, severing one of its legs with his lightsaber. He then escaped the planet in his X-wing just ahead of incoming AT-ATs and received a priority signal to return to the Alliance fleet.[3]
Upon returning, he was informed of the existence of a new Imperial superweapon, the Tarkin, which possessed powerful defensive systems and a superlaser. Skywalker, along with Organa Solo, Chewbacca, and C-3PO was chosen to go along for the mission, and the four journeyed to Hockaleg, where shuttles to the superweapon departed from. After persuading Leia to wile away some uniforms from some passing workers, the Alliance party, disguised as Imperial workers, managed to get aboard a shuttle with the aid of a Jedi mind trick. They headed to the superweapon on a mission to attack its reactor core from the inside and landed aboard it with their cover intact.[3]

- The Keeper's World (Artoo is badly repaired after the Battle of Yavin, Han is not seen with Luke and Leia. He departed them in issue 7)
- The Kingdom of Ice(A direct follow-up to the previous comic)
- Marvel #8-#34(Except #28 and #30, in which Luke doesn't appear and isn't mentioned)(One continuous story about Leia, Luke and Han separating, rejoining, separating once again, getting back to Yavin, defeating Tagge and repairing Artoo. All issues are linked tight)
- The Second Kessel Run(Han makes a mention of making a Kessel run for Jabba, suggesting that it takes place after Marvel's issue 27, but before issue 37, in a period when Jabba forgave Solo's debt)
- Rebel Force (Vader is still trying to discover who destroyed the Death Star)

Edit
- Doom Mission (Han asks if Luke suspects Vrad of being the Imperial spy. Not intentionally, it can possibly tie this comic with the latter one. Also, after the Executor is damaged, there is a possible gap in the storyline, that allows the Imperial Spy and the final Missions arc to take place)
- Imperial Spy(Except for the final few pages)
- Missions 17-20 (Must take place during the evacuation because of Q-7N, see his article's Bts for more info)
- Star Wars 3-D 1 and 2 (Issue 2 directly follows issue 1; #2 is set right after the evacuation, it may be non-canon though, too many contradictions with Classic SW)

Stuff that somebody needs to work on (If you've taken care of it, feel free to edit the list):
- Have somebody check Star Wars Missions #9
and #10, since those are the only one's that Luke is apparently not in. Have somebody check the rest of the Galaxy of Fear books, too.RotS junior novelization - Yoda suggested they make Padmé look pregnant at her funeral to further disguise the fact that Luke and Leia were born.- Junior novelizations
- Mighty Chronicles (If anybody even has these three)
- Choose Your Own Star Wars Adventure (I'm guessing these go in the non-canon section)
- The Last of the Jedi #1 and #10
- Star Wars Masterpiece Edition - Never read any of these. Might Luke be mentioned in one or both?
Star Wars: Incredible Cross-Sections - Luke carried single pair of proton torpedoes on Death Star attack.- The Official Star Wars Technical Journal of the Planet Tatooine - Maybe for "Legacy" section: Luke's story was well-known even to the smallest kids on Tatooine, and visitors to Tatooine could take the Skywalker Tour.
- The Making of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith - The scene where Luke was handed over to the Lars in Ep.3 was filmed on September 7, 2000, while the crew was on location in Chott el Jerid, Tunisia for Ep.2. In this scene, Luke was portrayed by a newborn baby doll designated on the Call Sheet as "A.N. Other."
- Luke's Fate says Luke found a rock jammed between two of R2-D2's metal plates. It also has R2-D2 running away during breakfast, whereupon Luke immediately leaves to search for the droid.
Additionally, Luke decides to follow Obi-Wan while at Kenobi's hut, without Luke discovering the murder of the Lars. - Missions 1 - just after Ep4 - Skywalker left the party a bit early to tinker with his X-wing's proton torpedo launcher. Sensors detected a modified Carrack assault cruiser entering the Yavin system, and Solo, against General Dodonna's orders, flew out in the Millennium Falcon to stop it. The assault cruiser was badly damaged and forced to crash land eight kilometers east of the base. After the Rebels managed to subdue the Imperials and capture the ship's captain, they discovered that the Death Star was carrying a large load of contaminated bacta. During the skirmish with Imperial troopers, the Rebels befriended an ancient droid named Q-7N.
- Missions 2 - don't have it...
- Missions 3 - Skywalker, Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, R2-D2, C-3PO, and Q-7N traveled to Thyferra in Missions 2, and then headed to Delrakkin aboard the Falcon in an attempt to uncover the Empire's plot. During this time, Skywalker is frustrated that Solo and the Princess seem to like each other. As the Millennium Falcon neared the planet, twenty-four X-wing starfighters flown by Imperial pilots (in the hopes of staging a false Rebel raid on the planet Delrakkin) attacked the Falcon. Solo and Skywalker defended from the upper and lower gun turrets respectively, with Luke trusting not in the targeting computer but in the Force, as Obi-Wan Kenobi had taught him, and managing to take out two of the attackers, while Solo destroyed one. A fourth, however, crashed into the Falcon's deflector shield projector, forcing the ship to stage a crash and land for repairs. One of the Rebels launched after the remaining X-wings in the Y-wing starfighter attached to the hull of the Falcon. After being shot down, nearly captured, infiltrating the Liquidator, and succeeding in returning to the downed Falcon in one of the captured Imperial X-wings, Skywalker and the others discovered that the Liquidator was headed for the Yavin system and quickly left in pursuit.
- Missions 4 - As the Millennium Falcon reverted to realspace upon entering the Yavin system, Skywalker and Solo were forced to shoot down a probe droid sent by the Liquidator towards Yavin 4 in an attempt to locate the Rebel base. One of the Rebels destroyed the Liquidator, and upon being rescued by the Millennium Falcon, Han, Chewbacca, Luke, Leia, R2, 3PO, and Q-7n returned to celebrate with the Rebels until late in the night.
- Missions 5-8,11,12 - don't have them
- Missions 13 - sometime prior to Ep5 - Luke goes with Han, Leia, Chewie, and the droids shopping for spare parts to build the Hoth shield generator. They pick up an ancient B-1 series protocol droid, B-1D4, at a Skrilling salvage ship. En route to Dweem after making their purchases, the tertiary ion reflux enhancer on the Millennium Falcon failed, leaving the ship stranded in space at the mercy of Nikto pirates aboard the Predator-class warship M'hendosat. All the crew but one is captured. (Can we assume this is Luke, since the PC uses the Force and has a welder, and Luke was the one supposed to use the welder before the plan went awry? If so, add stuff about the PC's actions onboard the ship; otherwise, add that he was knocked out by Bothan stun spores and held captive in the ship's brig before being freed.) The one free crew member, with the help of the droids, freed the others and managed to escape. Luke examined B-1D4 and realized that she had been part of the Imperial Department of Redesign's The Heart of Steel project.
- Mission 14 - don't have it...
- Mission 15 - Skywalker erased the events of the past few days from the droids' memories to clear the effects of B-1D4's virus; unfortunately, the navigation computer onboard the Millennium Falcon was still infected, reinfecting R2-D2 and rerouting the group from their intended destination of the Rebel base on Hoth to Coruscant, capital planet of the Galactic Empire. Surrounded by hundreds of warships, orbiting battle platforms, and the endless flow of traffic around Coruscant, the crew was forced to pass through Imperial Traffic Control and land, albeit with a secondary transponder to disguise the Falcon as the Icebreak. With little hope of escaping on their own, Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3PO, with the deactivated B-1D4 in tow, followed Solo into the underworld of Coruscant, seeking out former smuggling contact and master criminal Phelon. Convinced dockworker droid in for repairs, blew through plastcrete wall in refresher to avoid customs. Killed three of the four stormtroopers who spot you, including the sergeant. Other managed to flee for backup. Take one hovercab several miles (yes miles, not kilometers) from the spaceport, then hop in another to take you thirty miles to a public elevator entrance into Coruscant's underworld. While eating at a diner, hear that Falcon was identified and the group spotted on holovid. People searching for group. Split up into two groups and manage to reach Phelon's hideout castle after fighting through various Underworld monsters, including his domesticated giant walking fish, Hobbrock. Repaying a long-standing debt to Han Solo, Phelon infected the military security network with B-1D4's code, reprogramming it to allow the Falcon, under the new pseudonym Felon Melon, to leave Coruscant unhindered. The Rebels jumped to hyperspace en route to the nearest Alliance outpost on the planet Cheeyoom Matee. There, they were brought to a debriefing, where the base commander betrayed them to the Empire and allowed stormtroopers to bring the group to the Imperial prison on Merakai.
JJK
Edit
I'm not entirely sure how the timeline works, since apparently Han and Leia don't send their kids to the academy at the same time. Anakin was involved with Jacen and Jaina finding Zekk while they were back on Coruscant (The Lost Ones). Maybe this was Anakin's 3-month vacation from the academy? JJK1 has to start after Heirs of the Force (when the Solo twins start their training) and before The Lost Ones, since JJK1 is his first time on Yavin 4.
- Bit of a response from Ataru: J & J do go home in The Lost Ones and meet Zekk. I'd have to check again to see if Anakin is directly mentioned. They're back on Yavin 4 by the end of the book IIRC. Atarumaster88

- Just checked some more: Anakin had already been to the academy by the time the twins came home in The Lost Ones. Do J & J have any breaks on Coruscant from the academy in the YJK books before The Lost Ones. —Xwing328(Talk) 21:58, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- You know, all of this timeline crap will work out if YJK1 is in fact not the first time Jacen and Jaina are on Yavin 4 for training. I guess that was just a false assumption I've been making? The Golden Globe states that Anakin left for his first class as soon as "Jaina and Jacen returned from their time at the academy." Anakin also mentions seeing J & J at the academy during his classes several times in the JJK books. All sources, from the NEC to the SW Message Boards and the Del Rey online timeline show this series starting in 22 ABY, before even Survivor's Quest. So, do we put these six books, then Survivor's Quest, and then the YJK series?
- A check of our Jaina Solo FA reveals that JJK seems to be the first mention of Jaina at the academy. 23 ABY is when that book is set, so that would seem to be the case. Our own internal timeline places these in that order; I suppose we should adjust the appearances section above. Atarumaster88

The Dark Man
Edit
4 years after the Swarm War ended, Luke began having visions of a man, wrapped in shadow, bringing pain to the Galaxy, as well as to himself. After a couple of dreams involving the man, Luke decided to tell Mara about it. Though she suggested to Luke that it may have been Raynar, he explained to her to it reminded him of his father, Vader. Luke would often see this man's eyes turn to a yellow color, signifying his use of the Dark Side. Mara though, could not see what he was worrying about, and left Luke to sleep.
Luke was still worried though; not only was he having repeated visions of the dark man, there were growing tensions between the Galactic Alliance and Corellia, who was struggling to remain free of the GA's fleet requirement, but also wanted its benefits to remain. As a result, he sent Ben, his son, and his master and nephew, Jacen, to Adumar to investigate these tensions, as well as any illegal activites going on there. What Ben and Jacen did find, was an illegal missile factory, and escaped after revealing the factory to the GA.

This takes place 4 months after the Battle of Hoth. Luke and Lando are said to be busy tracking down Boba Fett so as to rescue Han:
While searching for Boba Fett.... the Alliance was contacted by Gel, an inhabitant of Dalicron-4. Gel knew of a uniquely Force-sensitive child that provides a direct connection to the Force. Fearful that the Empire might discover the boy, Gel begged for Luke Skywalker to journey to the planet and take the boy and his parents into protective custody. However, too busy with his own search for Solo, and unsure of the veracity of the request, a weary Commander Skywalker requested a small group of Rebel agents travel to the planet and bring the boy back to Home One.[4]

Blind Fury!
Edit
Once, while flying in his X-Wing, Luke tried to get some practice with the lightsaber.(Note about X-Wing's size discrepancy) He was forced to interrupt his training when he heard a distress call from a woman, who talked about some "tower", coming from the planet Garn. Landing on Garn to investigate, Skywalker soon reached the huge dark tower. As he entered the building, Skywalker was attacked by swarms of monsters that nearly killed him, before suddenly disappearing. Skywalker then heard a strange voice calling him "a Jedi" and telling that "many old friends had been waiting for him". Luke then descended further into the darkness of the tower and soon found a room filled with the ancient Jedi armor and some kind of crystals. The crystals called to him and asked for help, leading Skywalker to realize that they were the soul-snares that could trap the essence of life and keep it inside forever. Unable to help them, Luke continued on his path and soon reached a room where he found a green-skinned humanoid figure draped in ornate vestments within a green translucent pyramid and who introduced himself as Rur, the High Shaman of the Order of the Terrible Glare. Hearing that, Skywalker remembered a story Ben Kenobi had told him before. Thousands of years ago, the Order of the Terrible Glare and the Jedi fought a disastrous war. The Jedi won and devastated the Order's world, Garn. Rur accused the Jedi of treachery in their "recent" attack "many months ago," and announced his intention to take revenge on Skywalker as he had done to so many others. Skywalker explained to him that the Jedi were all killed in the Great Jedi Purge and that the war had been over for so long that Rur had lost all sense of time. Unable to reconcile the destruction of the Jedi and the passage of so much time with his ancient lust for revenge, Rur plummeted into a self-destructive fit of dissonance, that destroyed the tower. Skywalker narrowly escaped, and while watching at the burning remains of the tower, reflected on the obsessive hatred and vengeful spirit that had finally consumed the last of the shamans of the Order of the Terrible Glare.

Dark Knight's Devilry
Edit
Once, while Skywalker was reconnoitering the sector of space near the planet Jerne in a disguised freighter, he encountered a strange ship floating in space.
...., Skywalker, Artoo and Organa were captured by the Imperial troops. Fortunately, they managed to escape when the local guerrillas attacked the transport that carried them. All the escorting stormtroopers were killed in the attack, but their commander, Ryko Vant, escaped on a jetpack. Before leaving the battlefield, he attached a small tracing beacon to Artoo's hull. The guerrillas then brought the Rebels to Meeka Reen, the guerrilla leader.
Infinities:A New Hope
Edit
In an alternate version of the Episode IV finale, one of Luke's torpedoes malfunctioned and blew up before reaching the Death Star's reactor. Thus the Death Star was not destroyed, only damaged, temporarily reducing its destructive capabilities. The weapon fired a shot that did not destroy Yavin IV. A delay needed to recharge the superlaser allowed the remains of the Rebel Alliance to evacuate from the moon right before the second, full-power shot that destroyed the Rebel base. Meanwhile Skywalker and Solo were attacked by a swarm of TIE fighters. Witnessing the destruction of Yavin IV, and not knowing that Princess Leia was still alive, Luke gave into his anger and destroyed several Imperial ships. Only thanks to Ben Kenobi's voice was he able to regain control of his feelings. Maneuvering through the asteroid field left by the destruction of the planet, Luke and Han jumped to hyperspace.
X-Wing
Edit
Note:This goes at some point after the evacuation, but before the relocation to Hoth. I would place it before the Small Victories arc, when the B-Wings were used.
Skywalker worked on getting the new Slayn & Korpil B-wing starfighters operational within the Alliance Fleet. He met with his old acquaintance Keyan Farlander, now lieutenant in the Alliance who had also been working on that project and was one of the first pilots to fly a Verpine constructed fighter, and asked him about the status of the B-Wing. Farlander assured him that the B-Wing was combat-ready and that it would be of great use in the fight with the Empire.
Super Star Wars
Edit
Luke is also one of the main characters in the Super Star Wars video game and its too sequels Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. While those games were largely based on the Original Trilogy, they took some liberties with the plot. For instance, Luke is shown defeating countless creatures, including the Sarlacc, the giant mutant womp-rat and the Jawenko lava beast even before his meeting with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Also he is attacked by Jawas, who are presented in the game as being hostile and shoot Skywalker with blasters. Their sandcrawler, is shown as a moving fortress with numerous gun emplacements and traps.
Old Games
Edit
Luke was the main protagonist of the three Star Wars games released on the NES. The first one, released in Japan on Famicom in 1987 and based on A New Hope, was very different from the film. In it, black-haired Luke (who appeared blonde in the dialogue windows) heavily uses the lightsaber and the Force, despite the fact that he learned very little of it in the movie. Piloting the Millennium Falcon, which was piloted only by Han Solo in Episode IV, Skywalker must also save R2-D2, C-3PO, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca and Han Solo on different planets. In the beginning on Tatooine, Luke infiltrates the Jawa sandcrawler to save Artoo, who was captured by Jawas, and finds out that the Jawa transport is overrun with stormtroopers and that the enemy holding Artoo captive is none other than Darth Vader. However, delivering one hit of damage is enough to transform Vader into a scorpion. The next level took Luke to Kessel, where he raided an Egyptian-like temple full of snakes and frogs in order to save Obi-Wan. Level three took place on the planet full of water, where Skywalker needed to save Threepio. After that, he finally reached the Death Star, where he single-handedly freed Leia Organa, killing Boba Fett and fighting Vader instead of Obi-Wan along the way. Before reaching Yavin, Luke took a trip to the icy planet that looked a lot like Hoth to save the frozen Chewbacca, who kissed him in gratitude. Finally, on the surface of Yavin, that is full of Imperial troops, Skywalker saves Han Solo, who was trapped in a giant tree. Only after that did Luke participate in the Battle of Yavin. At the end of each level, Luke fought a boss, that was either Vader or a monster pretending to be Vader.
The 1992 JVC version of Star Wars had much less differences from the original source. Some minor ones included Luke finding Artoo in the Jawa sandcrawler instead of the Jundland Wastes, and meeting Ben Kenobi in the local caves of Tatooine after that.
JVC's adaptation of the second film, TESB, was also slightly different. The biggest difference was that Han Solo was never trapped in carbonite. Instead, Luke destroyed Boba Fett's Slave I, when the bounty hunter attempted to leave Bespin.

Eaten Alive
Edit
When Skywalker, Organa, Solo, Chewbacca and the droids travelled on the Millennium Falcon, the ship dropped out of hyperspace fifteen minutes too early. They found themselves near the planet D'vouran. Landing on the planet to make some repairs to their ship, they kept their ties to the Rebellion secret, posing as "researchers". They visited the Don't Go Inn, there they witnessed how the local criminal Smada the Hutt and his goons threatened two children and a Shi'ido. Skywalker and his friends intervened, forcing Smada to go away. Skywalker and the others then introduced themselves and discovered that the kids they had saved were Zak and Tash Arranda, the brother and sister from Alderaan, who had survived their homeworld's destruction because they were on a two-week holiday, and the Shi'ido was their caretaker, uncle Hoole. The Arrandas and Hoole dropped out of hyperspace earlier too, but their ship, the Lightrunner, was heavily damaged because of the rough landing and they were looking for someone who could help them repair it. Solo and Chewbacca agreed to provide their services as mechanics. Meanwhile, Skywalker discovered that the elder Arranda, Tash, was apparently Force-sensitive. She, recognizing a Jedi's lightsaber on Skywalker's belt, asked him if he was a Jedi, informing Luke that she was looking for one, so he could teach her how to use the Force. Skywalker, not fully-trained himself, told Tash that he was no Jedi and that the lightsaber he carried belonged to his father. However, he gave her an advice not to give up and trust her feelings. Their conversation was interrupted when Bebo, the survivor of the crash of the ship Misanthrope that had happened years ago, screamed that his fellow survivor Lonni had disappeared. No traces of Lonni were found and the native Enzeen assured everyone that Bebo was insane and that he was the only one who had survived the crash, but Tash felt that Bebo was telling the truth. After the group reached the spaceport, Skywalker once again advised Tash to trust her feelings and offered to use the Falcon's computer to find out more about the Misanthrope's crash. They soon found two items. One was an official Imperial report, which stated that Bebo was in fact the only survivor, and the other file was encrypted in an Imperial code. Tash tried to break it, but Solo's trace detector signaled an alarm, indicating that someone tried to track her. Skywalker realized that the Empire wanted to know about anyone who was asking questions about D'vouran. Meanwhile, Solo fixed the Lightrunner and the Rebels prepared to leave D'vouran. Skywalker said goodbye to Tash, telling her that they may meet someday later, and departed the planet. However, Skywalker soon decided to check the Arrandas and asked Solo to turn around. Arriving back on the planet, they saw nothing but boiling mud. As it turned out, D'vouran was a living planet, created as an Imperial experiment and it devoured everyone on the surface until a special amulet was accidentally dropped into the heart of the planet. D'vouran then became unstable, spitting hot mud and trying to kill the Arrandas. Skywalker returned just in time to save Tash, Zak, Hoole and their droid D-V9. However, as the Falcon tried to escape, it got caught in D'vouran's gravitational force and everyone aboard saw that the planet was moving. Only thanks to Chewbacca's and Solo's piloting skills did they escape from D'vouran's grasp, seeing as the planet devoured itself. Skywalker was left very curious as to who was responsible for D'vouran's transformation, but Hoole promised Luke that he would find out.
Finished (Phew, I didn't think it would be that long.)
City of the Dead
Edit
Since the Lightunner was lost on D'vouran, the Arrandas needed a new ship; but the Rebels were already too long delayed, so the planet Necropolis was as far as they could take their passengers to buy one. Skywalker asked if they were going to be all right and uncle Hoole assured Luke that everything would be fine. Goodbyes were said, and Skywalker, after wishing Tash that the Force was with her, left on the Millennium Falcon, leaving the Arrandas, their Shi'ido caretaker and the droid Devee on Necropolis. Army of Terror
Edit
Willing to find more information about who was behind the events on D'vouran, the Rebel Alliance ordered a search. Soon, the Rebels discovered that the living planet had been a part of the Imperial "Project Starscream", led by the Shi'ido scientist Borborygmus Gog. Further investigation revealed that the headquarters of the project were located on the planet Kiva, a lifeless rock devastated years ago by a failed Imperial experiment. Taking a group of Rebel commandos on a cargo ship with them, Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie went there on the Millennium Falcon to end that threat once and for all. However, upon reaching the planet, the Falcon was attacked by an ion cannon. Solo and Chewbacca managed to land the ship relatively undamaged and the group proceeded further, leaving some mechanics to work on Solo's ship. To their surprise, when Skywalker and the others broke into the Project Starcscream's headquarters, they found no one except their old acquaintances, Zak and Tash Arranda, uncle Hoole, and their droid Devee, who, after several run-ins with Gog, went to Kiva with the same purpose as the Rebels. Luke, whose feeling that he would see Tash again was finally proven true, and the other Rebels were informed by the Arrandas that the only living thing found in the laboratory was a child called Eppon. Artoo then checked the laboratory's computer, but all files on the Project Starscream had been destroyed. The Rebels had no choice but to leave the planet and take the Arrandas with them, since the latter were once again without a ship, because their own one had been heavily damaged as a result of the ion cannon's blast and subsequent landing. Taking Eppon with them as well, the group began their trek to the Millennium Falcon through the rocky terrain of Kiva.[5]
During the journey, one of the Rebels, Rax, mysteriously disappeared after he had been given the task of carrying Eppon, who seemed to grow very fast. With Rax nowhere to be found, the group continued walking. Soon, Skywalker and Tash had a conversation. Luke explained the girl the little he knew about the Force, telling her what Ben Kenobi had previously told him, while Tash revealed Skywalker that she sometimes had the same strange feelings as Luke. However, before they could finish talking, Chewbacca and Skywalker simultaneously felt something. Just as Skywalker told Tash to get down, a blaster bolt screamed through the air. The Rebels realized that they had been ambushed and saw several stormtroopers led by Darth Vader. Organa stalled the Dark Lord by blocking his path with a rock which she shot down with her blaster, and ordered the Arrandas to get to the Falcon where they should have been safe while Skywalker and the others fought Vader. Zak and Tash wanted to stay, but Skywalker told them that it was the Rebels' fight, persuading the kids to go with Hoole, Devee, Eppon and four commandos. However, Darth Vader's troops soon broke off the attack and followed the Arrandas. Solo managed to warn the kids via the Falcon's intercom and told them to fly away on the cargo ship before the transmission was interrupted. Eventually, after reaching the place where the Falcon had been parked and not finding it there, the Rebels decided to return to Gog's laboratory. Upon reaching it, they found the door closed and heard Zak pounding on it. Telling the Arrandas to get away from there, the Rebels blew the door up with the explosives.[5]
It was revealed that Gog, previously thought to be dead, was in fact alive and well, and that Eppon was one of his experiments, the first one in the proposed Army of Terror and the climax of Project Starscream. The scientist ambushed Zak and Tash on the cargo ship. The kids later escaped from him and then from Vader, learning that Gog was also Dark Lord's target and reuniting with their uncle, whom they discovered to be a former Imperial scientists who had worked with Gog on Kiva. Hoole, Tash and Zak rushed to the laboratory, where they were attacked by Eppon, who acted under the orders of Gog. Suddenly, Vader appeared and began fighting Eppon. It was at that moment that the Rebels appeared and blew up the door. The effect of the blast caused a part of the ceiling to fall down, sealing Vader from the others. However, Eppon was still there and he attacked the Rebels and the Arrandas. Skywalker, Solo, Chewbacca, Organa and the remaining commandos opened fire, but Gog's creation was not harmed by it. The blaster fire had only stalled him, prompting Eppon to try another tactic. His eyes flashed as he looked into the eyes of the Rebels, invoking their deepest nightmares. Skywalker tried to fight the illusion and ultimately succeeded in it, just in time to help Tash defeat Eppon. Using the Force together, they forced Eppon to turn on his creator. Gog was prepared, however, and he blew up Eppon's head by triggering the explosive hidden there, causing the effects of Eppon's influence to disappear. However, before the Rebels could attack Gog, the spirits of Kiva's late residents appeared in the laboratory, willing to execute Hoole, for they thought him to be responsible for Kiva's devastation. Devee managed to get to the laboratory's console, activating it and showing a tape that proved that it was Gog's fault. Distraught, the spirits attacked the leader of the Project Starscream and killed him, dissappearing soon after that. Skywalker then thanked Tash for her help, telling that everybody could have been killed if Tash had not helped.[5] The Arranda's ship was repaired and the Rebels parted ways with Zak, Tash, Hoole and Devee.[6][7]

Dark Empire Rewrite
Edit
But the death of Thrawn was by no means the end of the Empire. Inspired by what the Chiss commander had accomplished, the surviving members of the Imperial Ruling Council and six former Imperial Starfleet commanders united and attacked Coruscant. They managed to re-capture the galactic capital, forcing the New Republic to retreat to the "Pinnacle base" on Da Soocha V. However, the Imperial commanders could not agree as to who would be the new Emperor and the Civil War began. Quick to take advantage of the chaos, the New Republic, employing hit-and-run tactic, conducted raids on Imperial territories using several captured Star Destroyers. One such raid was conducted by an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Liberator under the command of Skywalker and generals Lando Calrissian and Wedge Antilles. Unfortunately, the Liberator was shot down and crashed on the surface of the planet. The entire crew was stranded for days on the war-torn Coruscant, fighting rival Imperial factions and numerous scavengers.

Skywalker and Organa then participated in a mission to deliver medical supplies to the Rebel Alliance. They bargained the supplies from some smugglers, but were betrayed. The smugglers played a double game and told the Imperial troops about the Rebels. Soon Skywalker and Organa's ship was attacked by a Star Destroyer that sent several TIE fighters to intercept. While dodging their fire, Skywalker plotted a course to make a jump to hyperspace. However, as he activated the hyperdrive, a blast from one of the TIEs hit the ship. The ship still entered the hyperspace, but all instruments aboard went crazy. Skywalker was forced to override the shipboard computer system to make the ship to return to sub-light speed. Surprisingly, there were no stars or planets around and the two realized that they had left their galaxy. Since all power was used to stop the ship, Skywalker and Organa were left drifting alone beyond the galaxy, somewhere in the Intergalactic Void. However, they soon noticed a lone star. Suddenly, a voice was heard on the ship's communicator. The voice that was laughing. Meanwhile, the star they had noticed earlier began growing in size, and soon Skywalker and Organa saw that it was no star at all. It was some kind of living ship. The strange vessel then swallowed the Rebels' spacecraft and Skywalker and Organa soon found themselves aboard the unidentified ship, surrounded by almost organic machinery. Then, the same laughter was heard again and the Rebels were once again swallowed. This time by the floor on which they stood. Skywalker was separated from Leia and fell a long distance before hitting the floor.
Possible "Pre-Birth section"
Edit
In 3,963 BBY, more than four thousand years before Skywalker's birth, the First WatchCircle, a group composed of Jedi seers within the secret Jedi Covenant, had a vision. In it, swarms of rakghouls led by Karness Muur attacked them. When the members of the WatchCircle tried to understand when would such an event happen, they saw several people from different times, both concurrent and future. Luke, who appeared in his twenties in the vision, told them that it would happen "now", meaning the time he lived in.
Skywalker's mother, Padme Amidala became impregnated with Luke at some point during the final years of the Clone Wars, the galaxy-wide conflict that saw Luke's father, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, on the front-line. Both Luke and his sister Leia were probably concieved during Skywalker's brief visit to Amidala's homeworld of Naboo.[8] (confirmed in Star Wars: Clone Wars: Volume II commentary?), although Padme was able to tell about her pregnancy to her husband only after their meeting after the Battle of Coruscant

I've finally finished the NJO series, so hopefully I'll be able to finish this. As before, if I miss anything, then please notify me. --JediCommando 19:32, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
In 25 ABY Skywalker, Jade, and R2-D2 traveled to the planet Belkadan from Dubrillion, at the suggestion of Kyp Durron, to investigate the disappearence of the scientists at the ExGal-4 listening post. After investigating the abandoned facility, Jade and Skywalker encountered the Yuuzhan Vong agent Yomin Carr, and killed him in a duel. After discovering that all the scientists, save Danni Quee, were killed, Skywalker traveled back to Dubrillion, where the Yuuzhan Vong attacked the planet. After the battle, Skywalker devised a plan to infiltrate the Yuuzhan Vong base at Helska 4 by using an iceborer. Skywalker had planned to infiltrate the base himself, but his nephew and niece, Jacen and Jaina Solo, carried out the plan themselves. During the proceeding battle, Solo was sucessful in infiltrating the Yuuzhan Vong base, and also rescued Danni Quee. However, in the process, Miko Reglia, Durron's apprentice who had been captured in a previous engagment, was killed. Skywalker later oversaw Reglia's burial at the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4.

Pics of "buff" Luke with long hair from the Battle of Saijo - Alliance of Free Planets & Nagai vs. Tofs & Lumiya. I wasn't sure if this was the place on this page to put this, but it seemed to make sense.
These were the best resolution I could get. I was unsure of how else to upload them, so I did the whole linked-photobucket approach. I figured you can grab them, edit them, and use them as you see fit.
Hope these are usable/helpful for you. Thanks. Medleystudios72 13:28, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

I've uploaded this image of Luke as Grand Master from the Jedi Academy Training Manual. We don't have a whole lot of images of him from that era, so hopefully you'll find this useful. Xicer9
