Hello fellow Wookieepedian, welcome to my Userpage.

My name is Carlos. I am a 21 year old guy from Uruguay, I have a wife called Belen (24) and a small child called Leon who was born on September 5th 2007.

I live in Montevideo and work for an American software company as a Help Desk agent. I speak English with a "Profesional" level, but I still commit a lot of gramatical errors and have bad syntaxis (The last paragraph is a good example) so be easy on me if you notice some mistake.

I don't really remember the first time I saw Star Wars, but I know it was "A New Hope" and I know it was on the cinema. After that, I became interested on SW by small periods in which I would be really into it, and then others in which I wouldn't want no part of SW. At the beginning of 2006 I started working on my current job and gained acces to a nice PC with a high speed internet connection, and so as I traveled trough the web I started rekindling the flame of Star Wars in my heart. With such disoveries as Wookieepedia and TheForce.net I saw the possibility of actually making it a hobby for myself, I mean, I decided I wanted to become a Star Wars nerd and know as much about it as I could. For months I lurked Wookieepedia inmersing myself in the huge amounts of information and lore.

It was just on the first days of August 2007 that I decided to formally become part of the community and joined officially.

[edit] Things I am doing right now

• I am going trough the List of droids and the List of droid models, checking one-by-one the articles there and updating them as I can. Adding Infoboxes, fixing links and putting them in the correct categories.
• I am trying to figure out what was the deal with the "Long shot".

[edit] Things I did on the past

• Minor edits here and there.
• Some clean up on the earliest battles of the Clone Wars.
• Created a new category for different Droid genders.
