Sad to report that I won't be around much anymore. I'll try to check back and spend some time here every now and then, but don't count on seeing me. If you urgently need me, I suggest you email me. Anyway, I'll leave most of this information up as a record of what once was, though some of that stuff no longer applies. I had a lot of fun here over the years and accomplished a lot, and for that, I thank you, Wookieepedia. Perhaps one day I will finish the Yuuzhan Vong...
Hey, I'm Chack Jadson, a huge Star Wars fan. I am only on this website, Wikipedia (extremely rare), Star Wars Fanon (extremely rare), maybe some other miscellaneous wiki (extremely rare), and the Wookieepedia IRC channel as Chack Jadson. If you see a Chack Jadson elsewhere, it isn't me. Also, on IRC, I am almost always ChackJadson, or Chack|Away. No, Chack Jadson is not my real name. Nor is Chad Jackson, Jack Chadson, or even Jad Chackson.
Even though I just learned about the EU in early 2006 when I discovered this website, I love Star Wars, and have ever since I was little. My collection of Star Wars material is pretty large, mostly consisting of novels and some reference books. My favorite film is Return of the Jedi, and my favorite book is Revenge of the Sith.
I joined this site on September 25, 2006 (UTC), and on February 9, 2009 (UTC), I was named an administrator, though I've since resgined due to inactivity. In my heyday, I made a fair amount of minor grammar and formatting-related edits, as I like things to be perfect. I used to spend a great deal of time working on FAs and GAs, and for years I was a member of both the AgriCorps and the Inquisitorius (again, I've since resigned from both those posts due to my inactivity). My FA/GA writing had little method to it; though I sometimes picked projects ahead of time, much of what I wrote was simply stuff that caught my fancy randomly, often in a work that I just read. In short, I tried to do what I could to improve the Wook. For years, I spent several hours a day on here and in IRC. It was fun, and I'm proud of what I've accomplished here.
I live on the east coast of the United States (also known as the capital of the world :P). Besides Star Wars, I like a few other science-fiction and fantasy things, good music (mostly classic rock), sports, reading, daydreaming and thinking, and some other miscellaneous things.
That's about all the relevant information I'll provide, other than I'm generally a nice guy and happy to help.

- I've finally accepted the complete EU. I've come to terms with the fact that the Sith return, and things happen after Return of the Jedi. Even Legacy exists, though I'm not a huge fan. - Having said that, inside me, there's a small part where the saga ends after Return of the Jedi. No more war, just peace.
- Cannot wait for Apocalyse. I have my theories as to what happens and what Abeloth is. Just why does it not come out till April?!
- A few of the most awesome moments in Star Wars: Gar Stazi's defiance at Caamas, Luke Force-holding Jacen to his chair in Inferno, Ganner's "you shall not pass" moment, the first 10 seconds after the opening script in Revenge of the Sith, Borsk's death, the Lusankya's suicide run in Rebel Stand, Vader's sacrifice in Return of the Jedi, the destruction of the Executor, and the end celebration in Return of the Jedi.
- My favorite faction is the Rebel Alliance.
- My favorite era is the Rise of the Empire era.
- My favorite character is Luke Skywalker.
- My favorite EU character is Mara Jade.
- There's so much...stuff in the galaxy (heck, even beyond the galaxy). It's incomprehensible.

- Star Wars is getting kind of sad. Chewie, Anakin, Mara, Jacen. What's next? I hope that in a couple of years they just shut it (the EU) down completely. Hey, all good things end. And you can't keep publishing new stories forever.
- Palpatine is the coolest Sith ever. Heck, he's easily one of the best characters in Star Wars.
- Some of the names of stuff (wars, Sith, starships) lately are really stupid. Second Galactic Civil War is the prime example.
- Palpatine and Vader...the best villains ever. There will never be Sith like them. Masters of evil, they are ambition and destruction personified.
- I think the Force needs to be respected, and those who are skeptics, like Zaarin or Motti or even Thrawn, deserve their fate. Those who underestimate it just don't understand it. The Force is extremely powerful in the hands of a master, and just can't be ignored like some people (IU of course, I'm not that crazy) do. Ultimately, I am just biased towards Force-sensitives, probably because of their sheer awesomeness. I'm also biased towards a few character in particular, mainly Luke, Palpatine, and Vader.
- Stop bashing Palpatine, both IU and OOU. How many other characters have taken control of the galaxy, eliminating the existing galactic government which had survived for millennia? Yeah.
- For that matter, stop bashing Vader. The "wussification" of Vader and Palpatine really annoys me.
- The Unifying Force (the concept, not the novel) and the Potentium are stupid, in that they believe in only one side of the Force. I believe in the Living Force, the light and dark, the duality of nature.
- Krayt was a failure.
- OOU, the Legacy comics were ultimately kind of disappointing (at times, at least).
- A small part of me is holding out hope that Palpatine is still alive.
- My favorite character is Chack, followed by Chak and Chakk.
- I despise Vergere. She is not a brave, clever being, just a stupid little bird who corrupted Caedus for the Sith.
- Darth Caedus is my second least favorite character.
- I hate these "the Force has no sides" arguments. I feel that while the Force is very complex (like life today, with its shades of gray), ultimately there is a light and a dark side.
- Flush out the One Sith. Who is White Eyes? Give us more detail, please. Hopefully this will all be revealed in time.
- The Dark Nest Jacen is so inconsistent with the NJO Jacen. That's the annoying thing.
- I hate how there's no middle ground for the longest time in the NJO. You're either a wimp like Jacen (or Luke, I'm afraid), or like Kyp. I think Kyp is definitely right. Crush the Vong, or they'll crush you. Pick.
- Poor Coruscant. The Vongforming almost ruined my favorite planet.
- Having said all that, the Yuuzhan Vong are actually kinda cool.
- I know the Legacy Empire is better and all, but it's still the Empire. No matter the good it may do, I can't get over that fact.
- Someone should write an e-book (or something) about the Empire winning the GCW, and then the Vong invading and fighting the Empire, not the New Republic. They would be absolutely crushed by Palpatine.
- The Darkstaff is kinda...cheesy. It's a dark side artifact that threatens to destroy the galaxy, and made a star system literally disappear. I haven't read the sources it's in, but it seems way too powerful.
- Also, basically every superweapon after the Death Stars is dumb. The Galaxy Gun, Sun Crusher and World Devastators are a bit over the top.
- Please, never kill Luke. I mean, we know he's dead, but don't show him dying. Just leave it ambiguous. If he is actually killed off, us crazed fans will riot! That way we can imagine how he dies, be it incredibly epic or just passing away peacefully in his sleep at 100. We can think he died in a way that makes Chewie's death run-of-the-mill if we wish. Blowing up an uninhabited star system with the Force to kill a Sith maybe? Like Han said, the laws of physics stop working before Luke dies? :P
- The major problem with the Legacy comics is that is renders whatever happens in the novels moot. Peace is restored. So what? 90 years later, the Sith are back, stronger than they've been in decades, and the Empire rules again.
- I wish sometimes people would just succumb to common sense, instead of insisting on a canon source.
- Why do so many anons and new users have such horrible grammar? Really, it's ridiculous.

- I'm not a Karen Traviss fan. At all. She completely ruined Mandalorians. Also, Fandalorians are stupid.

| This user believes that Palpatine may still be alive, and may re-appear in Fate of the Jedi. Though highly unlikely, part of him believes that this would be the coolest thing since summer vacation, and thus, he will not remove this message until after Fate of the Jedi is over. Yes, he knows that's not until the end of 2011 (tentatively). And unfortunately.
