Hey, I'm Chack Jadson. Also see my Wikipedia account, which I rarely use, or my fanon biography on the Fanon Wiki. I am only on this website, Wikipedia (extremely rare), Star Wars Fanon (extremely rare), and the Wookieepedia IRC channel as Chack Jadson. If you see a Chack Jadson elsewhere, it isn't me. Also, on IRC, I am almost always ChackJadson, or Chack|Away.
No, Chack Jadson is not my real name. Nor is Chad Jackson, Jack Chadson, or even Jad Chackson. I am a huge Star Wars fan, even though I just learned about the EU in early 2006 when I discovered this website.
As of February 9 (UTC), I am an administrator, so I can now help with tasks like deleting pages or blocking vandals. Anyway, though I make a fair amount of minor grammar-related edits, I also work on FAs and GAs, and usually have several nominated. I am very active on the two nomination pages, as I am a member of both the Inquisitorius and AgriCorps. In short, I try to do what I can to improve the Wook. I generally don't upload images, though. I sometimes make spelling mistakes, especially when I'm in a hurry, so please feel free to correct any error I make. I'm on about two hours a day (though it varies, sometimes significantly). I'm on IRC a lot as well. I like to help and be a contributor to this Wiki. I am a Wookieepedia addict!
I am a Christian, and I live in Maryland. I bet I'm one of the youngest users on the list of top 50 contributors, as I'm only in high school. Still, don't let that give you a false impression of me. My collection of Star Wars material is average, although I'm working on it. I am a huge fan of Star Wars music. My favorite Star Wars book is Revenge of the Sith.
I love reading and will read almost anything. Besides Star Wars, I like a few other science-fiction and fantasy things, good music (mostly classic rock), sports, daydreaming and thinking, and some other miscellaneous things.

Star Wars and Wiki thoughts
- I've finally accepted the complete EU. I've come to terms with the fact that the Sith return, and things happen after Return of the Jedi. Even Legacy exists, though I'm not a huge fan. Now that I've got that straight after so much inner-conflict, I'm determined to read most Star Wars novels. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:33, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Having said that, inside me, there's a small part where the saga ends after Return of the Jedi. No more war, just peace.
- Part of me is still holding out hope that Palpatine returns in Fate of the Jedi. That would be awesome.
- Star Wars is getting kind of sad. Chewie, Anakin, Mara, Jacen. What's next? I hope that in a couple of years they just shut it (the EU) down completely. Hey, all good things end. And you can't keep publishing new stories forever.
- Coruscant Nights trilogy failed. Ultimately, nothing happened, and books two and three were big disappointments.
- My favorite character is Chack, followed by Chak and Chakk.
- I despise Vergere. Darth Caedus is my second least favorite character.
- And yet, I'm still holding out hope that that wasn't Jacen in Dark Nest and Legacy. It was a clone, or he was being controlled by someone, like Exar with Kyp.
- If anything is worse than what the Vong did to Jacen, it's what they did to Coruscant.
- On second thought, what they did to Jacen isn't so bad. He was a wimpy, whiny little brat afraid to use the Force. That attitude was completely ridiculous and unrealistic.
- The Dark Nest Jacen is so inconsistent with the NJO Jacen. That's the annoying thing.
- I hate how there's no middle ground for the longest time in the NJO. You're either a wimp like Jacen (or Luke, I'm afraid), or like Kyp. I think Kyp is definitely right.
- Crush the Vong, or they'll crush you. Pick.
- Having said all that, the Yuuzhan Vong are actually kinda cool.
- Stop bashing Palpatine! How many people overthrew a 25,000 year old government? Yeah. Shut up. (Krayt, go die, nobody likes you.)
- Someone should write an e-book (or something) about the Empire winning the GCW, and then the Vong invading and fighting the Empire, not the New Republic. They would be absolutely crushed by Palpatine.
- Traest Kre'fey is the coolest Bothan ever.
- Bah, why didn't they make Luke or Leia COS rather than Daala?
- Really, she is a terrible COS. Terrible.
- I hate these "the Force has no side" arguments. There are two sides, light and dark. Get over it, and shut up about it. Vergere was lying because she's a Sith. She sacrificed herself so Jacen would survive to become Darth Caedus. Vergere never did a selfless thing in her life. She only died to ensure Jacen's survival after corrupting him, knowing that he had been changed, and that hopefully, one day, he would turn to the dark side and the Sith could rise again.
- Please, never kill Luke. I mean, we know he's dead, but don't show him dying. Just leave it ambiguous. If he is actually killed off, us crazed fans will riot!
- That way we can imagine how he dies, be it incredibly epic or just passing away peacefully in his sleep at 100. We can think he died in a way that makes Chewie's death run-of-the-mill if we wish. Blowing up an uninhabited star system with the Force to kill a Sith maybe? Like Han said, the laws of physics stop working before Luke dies? :P
- Stop beating on Palpatine, all IU characters. How many other characters have taken control of the galaxy, eliminating the existing galactic government which had survived for millennia? Yeah.
- The major problem with the Legacy comics is that is renders whatever happpens in the novels moot. Peace is restored. So what? 90 years later, the Sith are back, stronger than they've been in decades, and the Empire rules again. Please, make it a bad dream of Luke's or something.
- I wish sometimes people would just succumb to common sense, instead of insisting on a canon source.
- Why do so many anons and new users have such horrible grammar? Really, it's ridiculous.
- Learn to spell. Learn proper grammar. Please.
- I'm not a Karen Traviss fan. At all.
- Someone should write a book about the initial Imperial invasion of the Koornacht Cluster, and their attempts to bring the Yevetha under control at first. Palpatine sends Vader and his Noghri there, and in short, Vader annihilates the Yevetha.
- I've never played KOTOR I or II. Maybe one day I will. But not the MMO.
- I think Thrawn is a little overrated. Sure, he was an amazing commander, but I think people forget what Palaptine and Vader were like. The biggest thing is that Thrawn wasn't Force-sensitive, and no matter what you argue, Force-sensitives are simply better. Maybe not as good at commanding a navy, but overall, the Force just gives them too many skills to dismiss. Palpatine and Vader would have done a better job ruling an Empire than Thrawn, because they were the two of the most powerful Sith ever (the two most powerful, IMO). The point is, if we're having an Imperial fantasy draft, you can have Thrawn. I'll take Vader or Palpatine.
- I think the Force needs to be respected, and those who are skeptics, like Zaarin or Motti or even Thrawn, deserve their fate. Those who underestimate it just don't understand it. The Force is extremely powerful in the hands of a master, and just can't be ignored like some people (IU of course, I'm not that crazy) do.
- Mace died. So did Aayla.
- Palpatine threw the fight.
- I am sick of all the characters with miraculous survivals. I'm looking at you, Jedi, namely Alema "I get eaten, decapitated, mutilated and still live" Rar.
- I pretty much like all factions, but my favorite is the Rebel Alliance.
- My favorite era is the Rise of the Empire era.
- My favorite character is Luke Skywalker.
- My favorite EU character is Mara Jade.
- There should be a Battlefront III: The Expanded Universe. Although...
- If these images end up annoying me, I may (re)move them.
| This user believes that Palpatine may still be alive, and may re-appear in Fate of the Jedi. Though highly unlikey, part of him believes that this would be the coolest thing since summer vacation, and thus, he will not remove this message until after Fate of the Jedi is over.
