Because of school, I will not be able to contribute to Wookieepedia almost at all. I apologize in advance if my responses are ridiculously delayed or slow. However, please don't feel discouraged to write on my talk page! I will check it as much as I can.
[edit] About Me
I'm a very supportive fan of Star Wars and just love it! I spend at least an hour a day (although not any more now that I have school) on Wookieepedia and edit articles that I can contribute to in any way. However, I usually just do minor edits like adding and/or editing and/or reformatting paragraphs and sentences, but once in a while I'll do something a little bigger. I constantly annoy me friends with my endless "did you know"'s and the likes about Star Wars. After all, everyone needs to know about Star Wars. I got hooked on Star Wars when my mom got the special edition in 1999, and ever since then, I've always loved Star Wars.
I have finished Dark Tide II: Ruin and am temporarily discontinuing reading Star Wars in favor of school books (I'm taking Humanities so I have absolutely on time for independent reading). I suppose I list all of the Star Wars books and video games I have completed so people could ask questions about them on my talk page or something (after all, I became a Woookieepedian to help).
I think I became a Wookieepedian somewhere in June of 2007, and have yet to learn the complete know-how on editing, but I'm learning just by editing articles. The Help: Editing and Wookieepedia: Editing FAQ can actually be really handy. Try them if you're having trouble or need help on editing or ask me, I'll be happy to assist.
[edit] Some Star Wars Opinions
- Timothy Zahn is my favorite Star Wars author.
- James Luceno's tendency to overdo characters' thoughts annoys me—at least in Labyrinth of Evil.
- I take prid in my gramer and speling, and dont like it when people dont spell/grammer check themselves. I always try to be as grammatically correct as possible as you surely can tell.
- Karen Traviss did a good job on on the Republic Commando series and strikes me as strict and tough (probably from her military history), but not an arrogant woman .
- John Williams is one of my favorite composers and I listen to his music all the time.
- Star Wars advancement is technology is completely and totally unrealistic.
- Anyone who likes Star Wars history or Star Wars in general, needs, repeat, NEEDS to play the KOTOR game series because they are, truthfully, the best games I have ever played. However, wait! until Team Gizka finishes refurbishing KOTOR II!
- The GAR is the best idea the Old Republic ever came up with.
- No offense to to comic-doers, but I think comics are pretty dumb and corny. Books are better.
- I think that the worst thing Luke Skywalker ever did to the Galaxy was kill Grand Admiral Thrawn's clone—even though Thrawn was extremely arrogant and dangerous. He would have wiped out the Yuuzhan Vong in a year or less.
- I hate Rukh. Please join in with me.
- The Sith code is right, but not everthing it tells you necessarily happens, if that makes sense. Don't hate me for that, I don't support the Dark Side at all!
- Darth Bane's Sith ideals are right in the way that everything he believes, all of his convictions coincide and correspond with his life's story. His lifelong experiences and ethics (before the Academy) allowed him to to rightly compare the basic Sith teachings to his morals and say to himself, "Huh, now I know what the right way to live life is." Sad really.
