Known by a variety of pseudonyms, the Human known as Crazy Jedi Girl or CJG discovered Wookieepedia while searching for information on Qui-Gon Jinn. For quite some time she put off creating an account, both because she wasn't doing anything helpful or important and because she was just too darn lazy to do it. After creating some slight confusion by posting under several different IP addresses, and getting into trouble for editing one of her comments posted from a different computer, she finally created an account. Now known to Wookieepedians as Crazy Jedi Girl, she spends most of her time on Wookieepedia hunting for interesting but mostly irrelevant facts, characters, situations, etc., demanding confirmation for small details, and trying to prove to the world that Qui-Gon Jinn is awesome.

This user's real life is not interesting in the slightest. Why do you think she's here? So she has chosen to be kind and not bore you by trying to tell you any details. Plus, she's too lazy to try to figure out something to write. So you can forget knowing much about her, at least until she has more time and energy.

One detail (or maybe two): CJG is something of a brainiac bookworm, which is lucky; otherwise she would have failed all of her classes because she's far too lazy to spend much time studying.

[edit] Obsession With Qui-Gon

"For the last time, I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH HIM!!!"
―Crazy Jedi Girl

Once upon a time, CJG was an ordinary girl. She knew next to nothing about Star Wars, and had no desire to learn more, thinking it weird. Then, one fateful day, she went to a friend's house and watched Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

For a while things continued as normal. Then poor CJG got bored. Having had no contact with the Star Wars galaxy save watching The Phantom Menace and reading the first two books of the Jedi Apprentice series, Qui-Gon Jinn was the most interesting Jedi she knew of. So she went to the official Star Wars website and looked him up. And it all went downhill from there.

No one is sure exactly how it happened, but because she had nothing better to do with her time, she became a Qui-phile. He eventually moved into her head and she's been stuck with him ever since.

For the benefit of those out there who have strange minds, CJG would like to add that she has no romantic interest in Qui-Gon whatsoever. (There's the age difference, for one thing. And long-distance relationships rarely work.) She just thinks he's pretty darn cool. Anyone who accuses her of having a crush on Qui-Gon will be sentenced to death by poking. *scary music*

[edit] What Qui-Gon Has Done to Her Mind

"So you want to write a story. Perhaps more to the point, a story wants you to write it. It's been nibbling at your ankles, keeping you up at night with promises of great literature yet to be, and distracting you when you should be paying attention in class or at work. You already know the characters, as many of them are canon, and probably a few are your own, and they've probably been talking in your head. Relax. You (probably --- I'm not a psychologist) don't have schizophrenia. You've got a Creativity Demon. Good for you!"
―[Merlin Missy]

Long ago, before CJG had discovered Wookieepedia, she was daydreaming, and she thought, "What if Qui-Gon had an apprentice before Xanatos?" And thus a character was born, and the beginnings of a story emerged.

The first attempt was a load of crap, to put it nicely. CJG soon realized that and tried to edit it, but the fact was it was just too awful to be any good no matter what she did with it, so she gave up. Despite her failure, however, she had managed to create a seriously cool character, and so she decided to try again.

She realized that she didn't know much about Qui-Gon, and she didn't want to get anything wrong, so she did some research, and in the process stumbled across Qui-Gon's Wookieepedia article. From that article she learned that Qui-Gon did, in fact, have an unknown first apprentice. She had had no idea that another apprentice really existed - it was just a random idea - so that was a bit of a shock for her. But now that she knew it was true, she wanted even more to write that unknown Padawan's story.

She tried, but couldn't seem to begin right. All her attempts resulted in rubbish. So she finally gave up, and for a long time she forgot all about the story and the Jedi who had inspired it.

Then she became bored again, and let her mind wander a little. Somehow it got to the subject of the aborted story attempt, and plot bunnies suddenly started to breed like mad. A new version of the story started to take shape deep within the darkest regions of her mind, completely different from the original, but very interesting. So she started plotting. That was quite a while ago, and she's still working on it, but with the help of a few patient members of the Qui-Gon Jinn Discussion List, she's finally getting somewhere. Hopefully she'll be able to start the actual writing soon, if she manages to find out all the things she needs to know - such as a good planet to use (the Star Wars galaxy is huge enough without still more additions), how Force powers such as telepathy and Force Suppression work, and who was on the Jedi High Council as of 66 BBY. This should be fun.

(CJG apologizes for making you read this section, as it has no real point, but hey, she was bored.)

[edit] Wookieepedia

CJG doesn't know what she would do without Wookieepedia. It helps keep her somewhat sane, and sometimes drives her a bit insane as well. Besides that, it gives her so much wonderful information that she feels as if she actually knows stuff. She has nothing more to say on this subject at the moment, because she's too lazy.

[edit] What CJG Actually Does Here

As CJG is the only Star Wars fan in her family, she has very few books to use as sources, and neither the money nor the opportunity to buy more. Therefore, she is very rarely able to verify something she changes, so she usually doesn't edit, unless it's a spelling error or something that someone else has verified for her. If she finds something that she has a problem with for one reason or another, she leaves a comment on the talk page of the article in question. Then she waits... and waits... and waits... until someone notices and gives her an answer. Sadly, that sometimes doesn't happen, as she has a habit of doing things like looking at obscure stubs that nobody's ever heard of and asking questions about them (see here, here, and here). Some other questions people seem to just ignore for some reason; consequently, you will find several questions she has asked buried amidst other comments, alone and unanswered. *sniff* So sad...

Many of her questions are related either to Qui-Gon or his unknown first apprentice, though the connection may be very obscure. For example, when she found the sentence on Qui-Gon's page that reads "For twelve years, Qui-Gon and Xanatos were master and apprentice", she decided that she needed verification before she could accept something that would screw up the timeline of her fanfic so badly. So she posted that question two or three times. Finally Kwenn was kind enough to answer my question... after she asked him on his user talk page. (Sorry, Kwenn.)

She has also been trying to promote the theory that Darth Sidious had the power of Battle Meditation, mostly for the purpose of proving that Darth Maul was not better than Qui-Gon, he just had help. (See Darth Maul's talk page.) She needs to do more research on that, though, as she isn't sure if the Sidious/Yoda duel was going on at the same time as the Obi-Wan/Vader duel. She hopes so; otherwise who knows what would happen to her theory? (Obi-Wan did have to go to Mustafar first, but...)

Her most recent project-thingy was to find out when Anakin Skywalker was really born. Luckily User:QuentinGeorge helped her with that, and her curiosity has now been satisfied.

[edit] Unanswered Questions, Unresolved Issues, and All Manner of Blah

  • Here. The main point of this question was to try to prove that Qui-Gon was not inferior to Darth Maul, but CJG thinks it makes a few valid points.
  • Here. This is one of CJG's hobbies - finding obscure articles and then asking for more information. Yes, she is a bit of an idiot.
  • Here. Same as above, only a different person.

She might post some more of these later, as there are several more. She's just too lazy to try to remember.

[edit] To-Do List

  • Think of something interesting to post in here.
  • Convince her friend that she is not in love with Qui-Gon Jinn; she simply happens to think he is freaking awesome, and very interesting besides.
  • Start work on that fanfic she babbled on about somewhere up there, the one that has been slowly taking shape for years within the dark caverns of her mind.

CJG welcomes all comments, whether compliment or criticism, because she has nothing better to do than read and reply to them. All random messages are also welcome, because again she has nothing better to do than read and reply to them. It's a little bit sad, but this way she gets to experience either a whole lot of fun or a whole lot of boredom. Wookieepedia is one of the many ways she tries to escape the neverending boredom.

And you're in luck, for she has at last run out of things to say!
